ULURU designs/develops products and makes them tangible by creating prototypes. ULURU’s work is characterized by looking from a different perspective, identifying opportunities and improvements, cooperation with/between partners and an entrepreneurial mindset.
ULURU product designers Sjoerd Visser and Ninna Thorarinsdottir acknowledge the fact that products are sometimes difficult to use.
They continuosly question themselves whether products can be simplified. Implementing user-friendlyness, exploring functionality and usability are the objectives when developing new products.
Prototypes
Our experience is that product development based on prototyping brings along new insights and new functionalities that are impossible to discover from your screen only.
In a fully equiped studio we research the use of different materials and create prototypes; designs become tangible. Learning and experimenting through prototyping has been successfully applied within our own product Suit Your Case. We are currently developing new visions and 3D prototypes for global players in the beverage, electronics and home furnishing industries.
